Ideas and Inspiration – from you!

We love this dry brushed piece by Nicky Nacky Noonah from Sheffield, thanks for sharing x
‘The small cupboard I dry brushed with Annie Sloan Old White. Let it dry then dry brushed Paris Grey. Then I put another layer of Old White on top.’

Then just a lovely piece of furniture painted in a colour we don’t see used often enough – Annie Sloan Florence with just a bit of Dark Wax used on the top, thanks for sharing Marie Powers and take a bow x

Here’s some lovely work talented Lorraine Miller has kindly let us share – a Telephone Seat finished in Annie Sloan French Linen.Super stuff – to see more of Lorraine’s work check out her FB page https://www.facebook.com/thelittleprairie?pnref=lhc

Here’s a lovely dresser that Sharon Ward has kindly let us share. We think the way Sharon has painted this has given it a nice clean modern feel but it also has a vintage twist with the handles – nice work – love those bowls by the way! x
‘Very pleased with my latest …finished in Annie Sloan Old White, fully Waxed’

I think Shabby Jenny has well and truly got the Annie Sloan bug! We thought we’d show some of her work displayed on our sister Facebook page ‘ChalkPaint™ by Annie Sloan at Dovetails’.
Shabby Jenny has a definite style which makes all her pieces work well together. I can see Annie Sloan French Linen and Old White, there’s a bit of Pure too… and Love those little vintage bottle warmers as well! Thanks very much for sharing Jenny
‘Ready and I am so proud…… — feeling in love.’
