The enameled numbers are Tim Holtz scrapbooking things from the craft store. Thanks!’
‘Really loving Annie Sloan Graphite at the moment, such a great authentic colour for original antique pieces. Here it is on a huge bank of Victorian drawers finished with dark wax.’
We think the decoupaging works really well to give this Chest Of Drawers that something special… have you tried Decoupaging yet?
‘Annie Sloan Paris Grey & Clear Wax, Decoupage drawers complimented with crystal handles…’

‘This has been a labour of love today. Painted, waxed, distressed. Applied silver gilding, took silver gilding away. Applied dark wax, took dark wax away. More silver gilding, more dark wax arghh! I had to stop.. walk away and revisit tomorrow. X’

‘First attempt at decoupage and crackle glaze ….. A bit much maybe? Does it look like it’s been in a fire? …….x
I originally did cupboard in Annie Sloan Graphite but it looked like an MFI black ash, so painted pinks & lilacs, then Annie Sloan Duck Egg Blue! The decoupage was fabric I had – an old scarf! Not content I then crackled it! It was a “more is more’ kind of piece! Loved doing it x’
Thanks for sharing Joanne – did you say fabric for the decoupage, wow!?
