Sue’s been on at me for a while to make it a bit cosier around our wood burner – step in Old Violet Chalk Paint™ by Annie Sloan! We’ve already got a nice Chest Of Drawers in Old Violet that lives near the fire so I thought it would be a good idea to tie-in a ‘feature wall’ using the same colour, one coat brushed on to show off texture, then Clear Waxed with a bit of Dark blended in – buffed the next day to give a lovely soft sheen – what do you think?
