I’d heard stories of people painting fabric with Annie Sloan and then I read about it in Annie’s great new book ‘Colour Recipes’, but it’s not until I tried it – on a rundown and heavily marked chair – that I realised it really does work! Saved me a fortune on recovering. I used Old Ochre unwaxed for the fabric and French Linen waxed for the frame.
